Alba Iulia

Alba Iulia is considered to be the soul capital of Romania, the City of the two great unions. Alba Iulia, the modern name of the city, comes from the famous old name 'Apulum'.

Alba Iulia is a 'level 3' community within the ASPIRE project and is represented in the project by Alba Iulia City Council. Alba Iulia aims to become the first Sustainable Energy Community in Romania and will use the knowledge and experience gained within the project to implement the ASPIRE toolkit locally.
